Raymond J Tutaj Sr. 81 of LaSalle died at 7:50 PM on Saturday, March 3rd in Heritage Manor in Peru.
Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no funeral services. A private family ceremony will be held at a later date.

Born on August 31, 1936 in LaSalle to Joseph and Anna (Pyszka) Tutaj
Married Katherine Harmon on August 19, 1961 in St. Hyacinth Church
He was a drummer for 27 years and played in the bands the Flamingo’s and Ambassadors. He worked at Alpha Cement in LaSalle, and Swift & Co. in Rochelle, and later the MGM, Union Plaza, and Fitzgerald Hotels in Las Vegas. His final occupation was Depot Master at the Mendota Amtrak Station from 1998-2008.
