Obituary for Lois Klimek
Lois Klimek 92 of Utica and formerly of Tonica and La Salle died Tuesday February 27 at 5:45AM in Heritage Health Center in Mendota. A funeral service will be held Friday March 2 at 1:00PM in the Burgess Funeral Home in La Salle. Reverend Michael Driscoll Pastor of St. Mary’s Church in Utica will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in La Salle. Visitation will be Friday in the funeral home from 11:00AM until the time of services.
She was born on April 23, 1925 in La Salle to Jess and Amanda (Boehm) Humphrey.
She married Sylvester Klimek on April 6, 1947 in La Salle.
She was employed by Illinois Power Company, in the office doing clerical work for 12 years.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Utica, and enjoyed being a housewife.
She is survived by 2 sisters, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband (2001)
