Obituary for Gil Jamias
Gil Jamias 69 of Stockton California departed this life on July 28 peacefully in his home surrounded by loved ones. A celebration of life will be Sunday August 26 from 9 AM to 11 AM in the Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle.
Gil was born on December 2, 1948 in the Philippines to Simeon and Calixta Jamias.
He came to the United States at the age of 18.
Gil married Georgia Beck on May 31, 1998. They resided in Stockton California.
He worked for LOF / Pilkington for 41 years before retiring in 2012.
Gil and Georgia enjoyed traveling. Gil’s favorite pastimes were fishing, camping, and spending time with family.
He is survived by;
His wife
His children: Diana (Ron) Moffett of Stockton CA, Rodney (Cheryl Varilla) Jamias of Stockton CA, and Elizabeth (Jason) Salgado of Manteca.
Step-Daughters: Falena (Michael) Gaughan of Utica, and Lesia Bara of Peru.
8 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren
3 brothers, 5 sisters, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Gil is preceded in death by; his mother Calixta.
