Obituary for George Koch
George J. Koch, 56, of Utica died on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 1:27 PM in OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 25th at 7:00 PM at Burgess Funeral Home in Utica.
Cremation rites have been accorded and visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 25th from 4:00 - 7:00 PM in the Funeral Home
A celebration of life will also take place Wednesday, July 25 from 4:00 forward at Red’s City Limits. Ashes will be scattered in January when the eagles fly.
He was born on September 29, 1961 in Chicago to George and Marge (Brown) Koch.
He operated the Village Green House and Red’s City Limits in Utica.
To have George as a friend was a good thing. He played hard, loved hard and gave it his all as a person. In the end he did it his way. The man lived in full tilt and gave it a good run. George is already so very much missed by so many whose lives he touched. Rest in peace George, and fly with the angels.
